Marco Pierre White to visit new Hoylake restaurant

Celebrity chef Marco Pierre White is set to visit Merseyside on Wednesday June 13 to meet diners and fans at his newly opened Hoylake restaurant.

 

White, dubbed the Godfather of modern British cuisine, will be meeting guests at a special lunch and dinner event at Frankie’s Bar & Grill, a New York Italian restaurant collaboration with champion jockey, Frankie Dettori.

 

The restaurant is the first Frankie’s venue in the UK outside London, and has had a warm reception from Wirral diners since it opened in April at the Kings Gap.

 

During White’s visit, guests will be able to enjoy a chilled glass of Prosecco on arrival before sitting down to a delicious three course lunch or dinner at the restaurant.

 

The special lunch and dinner events cost £42 per person and each guest will walk away with a signed copy of Marco Pierre White’s latest cook book, which is included in the price of the meal.

 

Speaking ahead of his visit, White said: “Wirral is an area I’m very familiar with and it was absolutely the right choice for our latest Frankie’s. I’m excited about my next visit, the restaurant has huge potential and we are delighted to be based in such a beautiful location.

 

“We want Frankie’s Hoylake to become a hub for the community, a relaxed but dynamic environment where families can come to enjoy traditional Italian favourites and have a good time, at any time of day.

 

“Our customers are as important as our food, so I’m looking forward to meeting local residents and foodies, having a bite to eat with them and hearing what they think about the venue.”

 

Frankie’s Bar & Grill is part of Sanguine Hospitality’s £5.5m redevelopment of the former Kings Gap Court Hotel, which also features a next generation Holiday Inn Express hotel.
